Northbrook, Illinois, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) October 7, 2010 — The International Coach Federation (ICF) announced that it has renewed the Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential of Barry Zweibel, president and founder of GottaGettaCoach!, Inc., for another three years. The ICF Master Certified Coach credential is for the expert coach. To qualify for renewal, MCC recipients must meet minimum requirements for continued coach-specific education as set forth by the ICF.
The MCC is the highest, and most prestigious, designation available through the ICF, a globally-recognized, independent, certification body for professional coaches. The ICF has more than 16,000 members in more than 100 countries. Less than 4% of its membership has achieved the MCC distinction, which Barry Zweibel first earned in January 2007. Significantly fewer coaches have met the continuing educational requirements required by the ICF to be formally approved for MCC renewal, as Barry has.
In its formal notification to the applicant, the ICF wrote, “Congratulations! Your renewal application for the designation of Master Certified Coach (MCC) has been examined and approved. We applaud your individual efforts to obtain a truly global credential and your strong personal commitment to the coaching profession.”
“MCC recertification is a particularly meaningful milestone for me,” said Barry Zweibel, who became a full-time business/personal coach 10+ years ago. “Yes, it speaks to the longevity of my being a professional coach. But, more importantly, it means that the ICF – the leading global organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession – attests, once again, to my commitment to coaching, and my capability as a coach. For that I am particularly gratified.”
